Synopsis

The government of Mendoza plans to build a hydroelectric dam on the Río Grande, in the south of the province.

The project would submerge the town of Las Loicas, erasing a community that has long called this river valley home.

Downstream communities also depend on the river. This documentary sheds light on the human and ecological costs of large-scale infrastructure in fragile environments.
