Synopsis
A newly released film, Voices of The Guaraní explores the relevance of the Guaraní Aquifer, a freshwater reserve shared by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Through the voices of indigenous communities, scientists and local leaders, the documentary addresses the challenges of protecting this vital resource in the face of climate change and exploitation. With powerful testimonies and visuals that reveal the interconnection between land and water, the film shows how international cooperation drives its preservation.
Closing with a profound message, an indigenous woman remembers: “Water is the heart of our land.” Voices of The Guaraní is a call for sustainability and collective action to protect the life that sustains our region.
